Shotsie is a self educated artist and a world traveler. He has appeared many times in print media as journalist and feature subject including: Newsweek, New York Times, Village Voice; Bergen County NJ-At Your Leisure Magazine cover Review of the New Jersey Poetry scene, innumerable newspapers around the US and contemporary hard cover books and periodicals on Tattooing and Fine Art.
Shotsie has appeared as a tattoo ambassador on: Geraldo, Good Morning NY, Good Morning America, Am NY, AM Philadelphia, Eye On New Jersey, CBS Nightwatch Many local and regional News programs. He has helped to author Customizing the Body with anthropologist Clinton Sanders Temple University PA. In addition he was a major contributor The Total Tattoo Book with Amy Krackow.
Shotsite will be providing a 1 Hour long FREE SEMINAR for all working artists interested in listening would Shotsie Is very interested in what European audiences think of the conceptual frame work. the time for this seminar is still to be scheduled but please look out for this as it should be very interesting.

We are proud to announce that the amazing Cecil Porter , known throughout the tattoo world for his exquisite use of colour and realism, will be joining us for our show. Cecil Porter is based in the Emecula/Murrieta area of Southern California, though he is always taking opportunities to work at tattoo conventions and guest spotting at tattoo shops across the globe.
He will be crossing the pond to create some incredible work at The 2nd Portsmouth Tattoo Extravaganza, bringing in customers in from all over Britain and Europe for a small window of opportunity to get a piece truly amazing inked. Joe Capobianco Grew up on Long Island NY, about 50 minutes out side of Manhattan. He’s an avid fan of great art, and attractive women. Its no wonder that he’s chosen Art as his career, and the female form as his subject matter.
He started his Tattoo career 15 years ago in NY, and has since traveled both the Country, and world, plying his trade.
He has been published countless times in Trade magazines, and has been involved in several group art shows, as well as two in which he was the featured artist.
In the Spring of 2006, Joe released two books entitled “the Joe Capobianco Sketch Book”, and “What’s Not Ta Like”, the art of Joe Capobianco. Due to the peoples demand for the “Capo Gal” The Sketch book was reprinted less than 1 year later, and the second edition of “What’s Not Ta Like” was just released this past January to avid fans the world over.
With several other projects in the works, Joe still manages to travel a bit. Visiting friends, Attending tattoo conventions and Tattooing clients all over the world.

Dan Smith was born in England but raised in New Zealand since the age of 6.
He got his first tattoo in the kitchen of a house of a few friends who lived by acclaimed tattoo artist, Dean Parken.
After years of inspiration from watching Dean Parkin and Dan Andersen work at Sacred Tattoo in Auckland, New Zealand Dan started tattooing in 2002 at the Body Art Shop in Adelaide, Australia.
As a tattoo artist, Dan has had the luxury of traveling all over the world including the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Holland, Hungary and now the United States of America.
Along with being a tattoo artist, Dan is also the lead singer for the band "The Dear and Departed" and have built a devoted following and boast quite a story, sharing stages with AFI, and avenged Sevenfold.
Dan thinks that it is important to be competent with all styles of tattooing but western traditional, lettering and music tattoos are what he specializes in.
Dan loves tattooing because it remains the one constant thing in his life. "Tattooing has been my backbone. It has got me through the hard times and has delivered some of the best."
Portsmouth will be hosting our 2nd 2-day tattoo convention, Tattoo Extravaganza. Us as organisers have listened to you, the public & the tattoo artists to bring the best tattoo convention that Portsmouth had ever seen, and it paid off. So now we are back, bigger and better and hope you will join us again in making this another year to remember.
Tattoo Extravaganza is being held at Portsmouth's pyramids centre, Clarence esplanade. Set next to the grounds of the famous, historic, Southsea Castle to display incredible work from artists from around the world.
Being touted as 'the must see event of 2012', Tattoo Extravaganza is set to bring your tattoo experience to new heights. Not just in tattooing but also in body modification.
We were the first convention to bring you all award winning artists and we will be doing the same again with a few more special surprises.
